HMO GreenTM
Our premiere plant care program is designed to reduce plant problems through scheduled periodic visits by a qualified arborist. During these visits, the health of trees and ornamentals are evaluated and treatments applied if needed. Following each visit a written report is sent to the client to keep them informed.
Cedar Lawn is equipped to do many in-house diagnostic tests including:
- Inspection of all ornamental plants
- Monthly property monitoring visits
- Monitoring of moisture, nutrition & other factors critical for healthy plants
- Consultation regarding other aspects of plant care.

Priority Green
This is a relatively new program that includes a group of visits timed to manage chronic plant problems. The program is intended for properties with limited pest issues and targets your most important trees or ornamentals.

Target Sprays
Sometimes that one specimen ornamental tree is stricken with a disease or insect problem. Our target sprays are designed to take care of those few problems you may experience throughout the year.

Tree & Shrub Fertilization
The vigor of plants can often be improved through the addition of needed nutritional elements. For stressful growing environments, a subsurface mycorrhizal application of beneficial fungi can help stressed trees obtain the water and nutrients needed to help ward off disease-causing organisms. Tree and shrub fertilization is done through subsurface applications (to ensure tree roots in turf areas obtain the nutrients applied) using a slow-release liquid fertilizer. Depending on the site and plants involved, a mycorrhizal mix may be combined with the fertilizer. Mycorrhizae can also be applied separately. If you have a tree that is struggling, have one of our certified arborists schedule a visit to evaluate site conditions and come up with a plan to improve plant health and vigor. Cultural recommendations to reduce plant stress will also be provided.

Tick Control

Lyme disease has attracted national attention and is now the number one arthropod-borne disease in the United States. We provide tick control sprays that are effective at greatly reducing the population of ticks on your property. This provides peace of mind for families with children and outdoor pets.
