Lawn Care Programs

Turf grass uses elements from the soil for growth, photosynthesis and defense.  Fertilizer is primarily composed of three major elements: nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Because these products become depleted as turf grows, routine applications throughout the year are needed to maintain adequate levels .  The composition and qualities of the fertilizer being applied are determined by the season to help ensure the effectiveness of fertilizer applications, pH (a measure of soil acidity) must be maintained at or about 7 (neutral).  Lawn care programs are comprised of a series of planned visits beginning in April and ending in November during which applications are made to keep soil nutrient levels and pH in an ideal range.  Treatments to prevent or manage insects weeds and disease are also available if these issues are a concern.

Basic Nutrition and pH:
Includes routine visits beginning in April and ending in November during which seasonally appropriate blends of fertilizer are applied to help sustain plant growth and promote vigor along with an annual application of lime.

Standard Program:
Includes all elements of our basic program along with weed and grub control management and prevention.

Premium Program:
Includes all elements of our basic and standard program with the addition of cultural practices of annual core aeration, dethatching and slice seeding.
